My favorite part of the Pretty Points Club is the Tuesday and Thursday gifts. Every Tuesday and Thursday there is a different extra 'gift'  you get with any purchase made between Noon and 5pm est. They are always a specific item in a specific color (you don't get to choose), so I like to check what the gift is each week and make my final call purchases if I want the freebie. I finally came across one I would use last week, so here is what I Got:

If you still have the $8 off 2 CoverGirl coupons, definitely head over to Publix - I was a little worried it would price adjust to the sale price, but it took off the full $8 because of the way the computer rings it up, so you will get 50¢ overage on every 2 you buy :) These coupons expire on 10/31 so you'd better go use them now!

Conditioner Swap = Free Fekkai at Saks Fifth Avenue

I'm not sure if you have ever tried Fekkai before, but I was chosen recently by Bzz Agent to try Fekkai products and tell others about them and they gave me a full size bottle of the volume shampoo and conditioner. I've been using it for a week now and I have to say these are really nice hair products. I always have the problem of my hair getting oily at the end of the day and going completely flat, but the Fekkai has really helped me keep some bounce :)

My First Product Trial

I got a box in the mail today from Ipsos i-Say, a survey company I am a member of. I'm signed up with quite a big list of survey and testing companies, and I take surveys for trials all the time, but this is the first time I have actually been picked to do a blind trial :)

They have given me a shampoo and conditioner that I am supposed to use for the next 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks, they will send me a follow up survey to tell them my results. I'm super excited! I will be trying this first thing in the morning! Stay tuned for my findings :)

A Fun Halloween Treat

I made these cuties for my Sunday school class (I teach the 3 and 4 year old kids):

Aren't they cute?! Even after giving them out to the kids, we ended up with two extras for ourselves :)

This is a horrendous picture of me, but I had to commemorate our cute treats :)

These were super easy to make, if you are interested. It's just a batch of rice krispie treats - I added yellow and red food coloring to the marshmallow before adding the rice krispies. I put them in these pumpkin shaped molds to form them, but it would be really easy to form them by hand. After they cooled a bit, I pushed in Reese's Pieces for their eyes. Then I took store bought cream cheese frosting and added food coloring to make the green and brown and piped on their faces and leaves.

I know it sounds like a lot of work, but they were really easy and the kids loved them :)
