Publix Trip!

Well, I finally went grocery shopping. Frankly it was the Dr. Pepper deal that lured me out and I'm really glad it did. I was almost lazy and put it off til Monday, but the Dr. Pepper deal ended last night! I would have been so mad at myself if I missed out on the Dr. Pepper, so I'm really glad I got off my duff and went. Here is what I got:
$

  • 4 boxes (12 pk) of Dr. Pepper, $4.99 each B2G2 - Used B2G1 Publix coupon from the Yellow Flyer, 2 of the $1 off 2 Dr. Pepper printable coupons and 2 of the $1 off Dr. Pepper 12 pk Target printable coupons = 99¢ for 4!!!
  • 6 boxes of Ritz Crackers, $3.79 B1G1 - Used 2 of the B2G1 Nabisco Crackers printable coupons (max value $2.50) = $1.06 each
  • 2 bottles Heinz Ketchup 40 oz, $3.65 B1G1 = $1.83 each
  • Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce 10oz, $3.19 - Used Buy 2 Heinz Ketchup Get Lea & Perrins 10 oz Free coupon from the Game Day Publix booklet = Free
  • 2 bags Lays Chips, $4.29 B1G1 = $2.15 each
  • 2 boxes Mueller's Pasta, $1.59 B1G1 = 80¢ each
  • Capers, $1.69
  • Butter Beans, $1.99
  • Ford Hook Lima Beans, $2.49
  • 2 large bags Chex Mix, $3.65 B1G1 - Used 2 of the 50¢ off Chex Mix printable coupons = $1.33 each
  • 2 Breyer's Vanilla Ice Cream, $5.99 B1G1 = $2.99 each
  • 2 pack of Thick Cut Ribeye Steaks, $6.99 per lb (normally $12.99 per lb!) = $13.42
  • $5 off $30 Winn Dixie Coupon
So, my total wasn't nearly as low as I usually like, but I did get quite a few items that I had no coupons for - plus I got those fantastic steaks :) My husband was thrilled. Anyway, for everything you see, my total without coupons or sales would have been $115.62, but I only paid $40.46! It still sounds high, but I got a lot of good quality items so I am really happy with the price I paid.

Unfortunately the Dr. Pepper deal ended last night, but the other deals are still going if you want to grab them for yourself :)

P.S. Coupons.com now has a coupon for 75¢ off Breyer's Ice Cream! I wish I'd had that last night :)
