Great Day For Publix!

Today, I had my best trip EVER! so far. I went to Publix two times (once at lunch and once right after work) and these are my takes each time:
  • 10 Bic Multi-Purpose Lighters, $3.49 B1G1 - Used ten $1 off coupons from the 5/22 newspaper = $0.75 Each
  • 8 bottles of Wishbone Salad Dressing, $2.89 B1G1 - Used 4 $1 off 2 coupons from the 5/22 SS and eight $1 off Publix Coupons (GMGD Display) = $0.44 overage
  • 2 packs of Pedigree Dentastix, $3.59 B1G1 - Used two $1 off coupons from the 5/15 newspaper and two $1 off Publix coupons (Who Loves You Booklet) = $0.41 overage
  • 2 boxes of Boca Burgers, $3.43 B1G1 - Used $1 off 2 printable coupon and two $1 off Target printable coupons = 2 for $0.43
  • 2 Betty Crocker Cookie Icing, clearance 2 for $3.99 - Used two $1 off coupons from the newspaper = $1.00 each
  • 2 bags of Ore-Ida Steam and Mash Potatoes, $3.99 B1G1 - Used $2 off 2 Target printable coupon = 2 for $1.99
So, for this transaction, my pre-coupon total was $89.29 and I paid $12.27! Seriously, not too shabby :)

After work, I went back to try and use up the rest of my coupons - I had to print out the GMGD coupon for the Wishbone. They were completely out of that one in the store. Also, during my earlier transaction, I noticed a blinky box with $1 coupons for the Dentastix :) So I printed two more Publix ones for that too :) Oh, and p.s. I actually asked the customer service desk about the Publix Dentastix coupon and they said they were allowing it to be used more than once per transaction. Here is my second trip:
  • 4 packs of Pedigree Dentastix, $3.59 B1G1 - Used four $1 off coupons from the blinky box and four $1 off Publix printable coupons = $0.82 overage
  • 14 bottles of Wishbone Salad Dressing, $2.89 B1G1 - Used seven $1 off 2 coupons from the 5/22 SS and fourteen $1 off Publix coupons = $0.77 overage
  • 4 bags of Kraft Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese, $2.59 - Used Rain Check from last week's sale for B1G1 = 4 for $5.18
For this transaction, my pre-coupon total was $60.47 and I paid $4.03.

So, for both Publix trips today, my grand 'pre-coupon' total was $149.73 and I only paid $16.30! That's 89% Savings! What makes this even better is that 6 of the lighters were for my dad, so he paid me $5 :) I've never been able to get my percentage saved higher than 75%, so I was thrilled! Woo Hoo!
