My Day So Far

Well, today is my birthday :) I am officially 26 years old. My husband wanted to be sure and give me my presents before the next part of the day, so this morning he let me open up a new candy/deep fry thermometer and the Our Best Bites Cookbook :) Both of which I wanted. He also gave me Beatles Rock Band, but he let me play that a few days ago when I opened m Band Hero set :) So, it's been a fun year for frivolous gifts :)

On a less fun note, this morning we had to wake up at 4 am so m husband could go in for back surgery again. It's not nearly as involved as his first one, but it's always a little unnerving when anyone has surgery done. Keep your fingers crossed for me and I'll be sure to post how things went later one.

So, not exactly the most fun activity for my birthday, but hopefully it solves his issues and he can start to recover without pain :) That would be a great birthday present.
