Target and Petco Trip

I couldn't resist the temptation to go back to Target to make more money off of the John Frieda :) And happily, there was a huge stack of the Full Repair on the clearance shelf. I also remembered a nice little freebie I saw mentioned on a different blog and was thrilled to find it myself:
This was from a single sheet ad with a coupon that was in the newspaper over a month ago and I'm so glad I hung onto it! They just started selling the trial size of this Iams dog food at Target and the coupon has no size restriction! Hooray for free food!
Here is what else I got with my overage :)
  • 6 double packs of John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo or Conditioner with a Styling Treatment, clearance $5.98 - Used six $5 off coupons from the newspaper and three $3 off 2 Target printable coupons = 6 for Free + $3.12 overage
  • 2 Trial Packs of Iams Proactive Health Dog Food, $3.00 - Used two $3 off coupons from the newspaper = 2 for Free
  • 4 Bonus Packs of Dove Men+Care Deodorant with a Free Travel Size, clearance $3.38 - Used four $2 off coupons from the 6/26 SS insert and two $2 off 2 Target printable coupons = 38¢ each
  • 3 10-packs of Papermate Pens, $1.02 - Used three $1 off Target printable coupons = 2¢ each
  • Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover, $9.99 - Used $1 off Target printable coupon = $8.99
So, my overage from the John Frieda paid for the remainder on the deodorants :) It evened out to me just paying for the makeup remover, which I needed anyway :)
After Target, I swung by Petco :)
    • Two bags of Healthy Selects Chicken Chip Treats, $12.99 B1G1 = $6.49 each
    • 2 cans of Royal Canin Cat Food = 2 for Free
    • Wellness Super5Mix Dog Food, $20.99 - Used $3 off printable coupon = $17.99
I also had a $5 off $25 coupon from the Orlando Sentinel today :) I can't fully describe how thrilled Gordo was with these treats :) I really only got them to hit the $25 to use the coupon, but he would never have known.
