Target Trip

Well, I put it off all week and finally had to make my trip to Target to get my free sharpies before the sale ends. As usual, I lucked out with clearance finds while I was there :) In particular - check out this find:

These L;Oréal lip glosses were in the back aisle clearance today for $1.87 each. There was a $1 off manufacturer coupon in the newspaper a couple of weeks ago as well as a $1 off Target coupon, so I made money on all 4 of these :) If I had had more coupons,  would have gotten more - these will make great filler items for gifts! Who doesn't like a cute lip gloss :)

So if you have these coupons, check the back aisles of your local Target to get some for yourself! P.S. on clearance lip items - Always check to see if they have been used! I went through and unscrewed the caps on at least 10 lip glosses to find these 4 that hadn't already been tried out.

Here was the rest of my take:

• 4 double packs of Sharpie markers, $1.00 - Used 4 Target printable coupons for $1 off = 4 for Free
• 3 Revlon nail clippers, $1.24 - Used three $1 off printable coupons = 24¢ each
• 3 Revlon Color Stay Liquid Lip Stick, clearance $2.24 - Used three $3 off Any Revlon Cosmetic wyb Any Revlon Beauty Tool Target coupons from the newspaper = 3 for Free + $2.28 overage
• 3 Febreze Flameless Luminaries Refill Shades, clearance $2.48 each - Used $5 off 2 catalina coupon and $2 off 1 catalina coupon = 14¢ each
• Sally Hansen Nail Polish, clearance $1.25
• 2 packs of 24 Tums, $1.82 each - Used two $1 off Target printable coupons and $1 off 2 coupon from the newspaper = 32¢ each
• 4 L'Oréal Lip Glosses, clearance $1.87 each - Used four $1 off Any L'Oréal Lip Product manufacturer coupons and four $1 off Any L'Oréal product Target coupons from the newspaper = 4 for Free + 52¢ overage
• 2 Summer Grow Kits (three matching pots on a base plate with soil packs and seed), clearance $4.98 each
• Expandable Gill Skewers, clearance $1.98

So, for everything you see, I paid $14.56! Most of it was from the flower pots and skewers and those were just good deals that I had to have :) I had actually paid $19.56 and when I got to the car I was checking over my receipt and noticed that my $5 off coupon was not listed. So, I went back to my cashier and showed her - she actually pulled out that coupon and was able to ring it back up and handed me $5 back :) It always pays to check your receipt when you leave a store! Most of the time everything is fine, but you never know when a mistake will arise. Also, at checkout, I got more catalina coupons back :)

So, I can get more Free Revlon items with that sweet stack! It's a self perpetuating cycle. They just must love giving away their Revlon items for free :)
