Fantastic Publix Trip

I've been putting off my Publix trip (what else is new) - I just haven't had time lately so it's a bit of a forced thing when I shop right now - at least my sense of responsibility paid off tonight!

• 3 Freschetta By The Slice Pizzas, $2.19 each - Used 3 Free coupons from online giveaway - 3 for Free
• 3 tubes of Crest Toothpaste, 2 for $4 - Used three $1 off coupons from the PG insert and three $1 off Publix coupons from the Stocking Spree booklet - 3 for Free
• 8 tubes of CoverGirl Wet Slicks Lip Gloss, 25% off = $3.75 each - Used four $8 off 2 CoverGirl Face Products coupon from PG insert and $1 off Target coupon from Beauty Bag = 8 for Free + $2.00 overage
• 2 lb bag of Publix Frozen Chicken Tenderloins, $6.79
• $5 off $25 Save A Lot Coupon

So, my pre coupon and sale total would have been $65.01, but I only paid 83¢! That's a savings of almost 99%! What makes this even better is that this purchase qualifies for this mail in rebate, so I will also be getting a $40 pink silicone bakeware set! Yahoo :)

If you still have the $8 off 2 CoverGirl coupons, definitely head over to Publix - I was a little worried it would price adjust to the sale price, but it took off the full $8 because of the way the computer rings it up, so you will get 50¢ overage on every 2 you buy :) These coupons expire on 10/31 so you'd better go use them now!
