In light of my knitting frustrations this weekend, I really needed a nice simple project to keep my momentum going. I figured that beginning the next animal in Craftsy's Amigurumi Woodland Animals class would be just the ticket; so, now I am crocheting a teddy bear :)
I know it doesn't look all that impressive yet, but I'm quite proud of my progress so far. This is done almost exactly like the bird was, so I'm pretty good at the basics now. I also am much more happy with how nice and even the bear looks. There are a few stitches that I made a little to loose on the bird and the stuffing is much more visible there, but since I've gotten better and tighter with my stitches for this bear I'm pretty confident I won't have that problem with him.
This piece is his head. I'm a little more than half way done with it, then I have to make another piece exactly the same for his body. Those will be the more time consuming pieces and then I will just be making small limbs.
I'm really excited to make this guy, so I'm sure it won't be long before I post another update on him :) They just come out so cute!
