Sewing Secret Santa Time!

I was lucky to be included in an international Secret Santa Swap among sewing and knitting bloggers :) It was all arranged by Krafty Kat (thanks so much!) and she did a great job keeping our santas a mystery. We all stayed at the £5 ($8.00 US) and we could tell our santas if we preferred yarn or patterns or whatever else you love. I told mine that I love kelly green and I would love a yarn from another country. Man did she hit mine right on the money!
I received my package a few weeks ago but had to practice my big girl patience and not open it until Christmas day. I was good! I came home last night from a day of hanging out with family and eating a boat load and got the pleasure of opening my sweet little package :)
Inside was a skein of K1 Yarns Scappa - a hand dyed and hand spun 100% Scottish wool :) And the color is Emerald. Isn't it lovely! I absolutely love it. I can't wait to plan what to make with it!
And there was also this 6 pack of cute little bright green polka dotted buttons! Aren't they cute?! You really can't go wrong with polka dots, I say :)

Thank you so much my Scottish Secret Santa, whoever you are! I love my gifts and they really brightened my Christmas night. And thanks to Krafty Kat for arranging such a fun exchange :)
