WIP Wednesday

Man, it's been a while since I put up a WIP Wednesday post! I've been up to all kinds of things lately, but I just haven't had the chance to take pics and blog. Here is what I've been doing this past week:

I got the itch to sew again (yay!), and being me I have all kinds of project plans running through my head. However, I have decided I must finish my current project before I am allowed to start anything new. Enter the Sailor Jasmine Blouse. I started this months ago and had the same shelf-boob problems my first one had, even with the corrections I've made. Ugh. I finally settled on a slightly better fit, but it still isn't perfect at the bust line. Oh well, it's really not so bad, so I continued on. I have the collar done! It's just pinned on at the moment, but it is a collar :) I actually really love how it's coming out and I'm excited to finish it. I've had to set it aside again for a short while so I can finish other things with more of a time crunch, but I will soon be picking this up again.

I'm also buckling down to finish the pumpkin hat for my nephew. I set this aside thinking I had loads of time to finish it ... whoops. Guess it snuck up on me. I really need to finish this before Halloween so it's not obsolete.

I'm also working on this hat for my husband. I actually planned to give this as a birthday present, but life happened and it's still not done. At least it hasn't gotten cold here yet ... at all, lol. I'm confident I will have it finished by the time he can wear it.
