  • Publix Frozen Baby Lima Beans, $1.79
I also used a $5 off $25 Save A Lot printable coupon and my total after all coupons was $16.14. I used my $10 Discover card I got from the Kellogg's Mail In Rebate, so I only paid $6.14

Then I made my way to CVS on a whim and I'm very glad I did :)
  • 4 bags of Fun Size Mars Candies (Snickers, Milky Way and Twix), 4 for $10 - Used $1.50 off 2 coupon from All You Magazine and $1 off 2 peelie on the bags - Also get $4 ecbs wyb 4 = $1.87 each

So, for everything I got, my pre-coupon total was $50.57 (before my card was scanned it was $66.64!), but after all my coupons, my total was $8.69. I used $3.99 of ecbs from my last trip so I only paid $4.70! That is pretty remarkable for CVS :) Also, I got back $9.99 in ecbs from all my deals :) Not a bad return on those free coupons :)

**This is why you hold onto free coupons! I've had these for a while, but I hang onto them so I can use them to my advantage - like this time I used them to make money in the store. Make sure you use them before they expire, but hold them until the last week :)
To top off all my deals, I made sure to snag a free rental from both Redbox and Blockbuster :) Now while I put my stuff away, my husband can watch Thor or The Fighter :)

Man, I'm tired...

My Idea of a Great Friday Night :)

Well, I acquired some more Spray and Wash coupons today so I knew I had to go to Publix to snag em as it's the last day. That sparked a whole 3 store shopping event :) The PSJ Publix had restocked on the large boxes of General Mills Cereals today and I had a rain check!
  • 10 boxes (1 lb size) of Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal, $4.99 - Used Rain check on the B1G1 deal, ten $2 off Publix coupons from the GDGM board, three $1 off 2 GM Cereals coupon from the newspaper (expires tomorrow), and $1 off 3 GM Cereals coupon from the newspaper = 10 for 95¢
  • 2 boxes of Toaster Strudel, $2.99 - Used two Free Toaster Strudel wyb 1 lb Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal peelie coupons from previous boxes = 2 for Free
  • 2 lb bag Frozen Tyson Chicken Tenderloins, $5.49
I also got to use a $5 off $30 Winn Dixie coupon, so my pre-coupon total would have been $37.92, but I only paid $1.44! Woo hoo - that's 96% savings!

I was so excited that the cereal was back in stock, I decided to check the Knox McRae store too so I could make sure I get mine before they are all gone again. They hadn't restocked yet, but they did have the resolve unlike the other store. They were all out of the trigger sprays I got yesterday with the 65¢ off coupons, but I wanted to get the deal so I got the other kind :)
  • 8 Resolve Max Pretreat Spray, $2.99 B1G1 - Used four $2 off 2 Publix coupons from the yellow flyer (expires today) and six 50¢ off coupons from the newspaper = 12¢ each
So, my grand total for this trip was $1.68 with the tax :)

And since I had to pass CVS on the way home, I decided to go in and see about the Pepsi Max deal :)
Transaction 1:
  • 4 bottles of Pepsi Max, 88¢ each - Used four 55¢ off coupons from the Publix Blinkie Box = 33¢ each
  • Peach Smoothie Scented Nail Polish, $3.99 - Used $1 off Revlon Cosmetics Item coupon from the newspaper = $2.99
I also used $4 worth of ECBs, so I paid 71¢ and got $3 ECBs back!

Transaction 2:
  • Mad About Mango Scented Nail Polish, $3.99 - Used $1 off Revlon Cosmetics Item coupon from the newspaper = $2.99
I used the $3 ECB from transaction 1 and paid 24¢ and got $3 ECBs back!

I checked the sale tag on the Revlon nail polish and I'm glad I did, because it said limit 6 per household. So essentially, this deal is self perpetuating for 6 bottles if you have enough coupons and keep buying the ones that are $3.99. You will have to scan them to see their price, some of the scented ones are $4.99.

At Publix, I snagged a Free Blockbuster Express Rental :) And at CVS, I cashed in my Free Redbox Rental from Tropicana I posted about last week :) So tonight we are watching Source Code and Take Me Home Tonight.
Now that's what I call a good Friday night :)

Publix + CVS = Exhausted But Satisfied

Man has it been a long day! I'm honestly really worn out. It was so busy at work and I was on my feet the whole time. Anyway, despite my fatigue and a headache, I still had to go out to try and snag some deals. First I went to Target to try and get some Swiffers I had seen on clearance Saturday but didn't have the coupons for only to find someone else had the same idea and they were gone. Bummer. So, I ran to Publix to try and use a gift card offer that expires today, but I ended up not doing it. Even though I would have loved to get a $5 gift card, none of the items you need to buy in order to receive the gift card were on sale and I didn't need them. So, I had to let that one go. I did leave the coupon for the next hopeful patron though :) Hopefully it got used.

Here is what I did get at Publix:
  • 2 Gallons of Milk, $3.89 each - Used two $1 off milk wyb Any Nabisco Cookies printable coupon (no longer available) = $2.89 each
  • 4 Chips Ahoy Cookies, $3.59 B1G1 - Used two $1 off wyb Chewy Gooey and Any Other Chips Ahoy coupons from the Chewy Gooey Facebook Sample and B3G1 Target printable coupon = 39¢ each
  • 2 boxes of Orville Redenbacher Popcorn, $4.89 B1G1 - Used $3 off 2 Target printable coupon = 94¢ each
  • 4 Papermate Pen 10 packs, 2 for $1 - Used two $1 off Any Papermate Product Target printable coupons = 4 for Free
  • Publix Vanilla Ice Cream (my husband has been begging me for this!), $3.50
  • Immaculate Baking Co Cookie Dough (I should never shop when I'm hungry), $2.50
  • 4 bottles of Soft Scrub Cleaner, $3.29 B1G1 - Used four $1.50 off Any Soft Scrub Product coupons from the newspaper = 14¢ each
  • $50 BP Gas Card - Used $10 off Any $50 Gas Card with $25 purchase coupon from the Publix Ad = $40
So, on top of all these coupons, I used one of my $5 off $30 Winn Dixie Coupons from the Experience The City coupon booklet. Without my coupons and sales, my total would have been $111.32, but I only paid $51.24. Also, I used the $5 Publix card I got from my purchases last week and a $5 gift card from the Kelloggs Cars 2 Promotion, so I only paid $41.24 out of pocket for everything :)

I know I could have done better if I had only stuck to my coupon items, but I'm still happy with my result :)

After Publix, I hit CVS on the way home to get my "Free Items" from the Magic Coupon Machine that their ad says I will get this week. I was very happy with the results :) Here are the coupons I got today:
    • Free CVS Brand Fabric Bandages 20 ct (up to $4.29 value)
    • Free Hershey's Caramello 1.6 oz (up to $1.19 value)
    • Free Carefree Pantyliners 20 ct (up to $1.69 value)
    • $1 off Lumene Sensetive Touch Cleansing Wipes
    • 50¢ off Big Chill Purified Water, 20 oz
    • $1 off Air Delight Kisses, bagged candy
    • $3 off Any $15 Grocery purchase
Unfortunately, they were out of the bandages and the caramellos. On the up side, CVS being who they are will honor that coupon until the item comes back in stock, so if you get one and your store is out, just hang onto it. I still have my Free Hershey's Air Delight chocolate bar coupons from a few months ago - they haven't gotten any in yet! But I know how they are and the associates are very nice about store coupons even if they are expired. Here is what I did get though:
    • 1 Gallon of Milk, $3.39
    • 2 bottles of Dr. Pepper, 88¢ each
    • 2 bottles of Gatorade Perform, $1 each
    • 2 packs of Gatorade Prime, $1.50 each
    • Carefree Pantyliners 20 ct, $1.57 - Used Free coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine = Free
    • Revlon Coconut Crush Scented Nail Polish, $3.99 - Used $1 off coupon from the 8/14 newspaper = $2.99
I got most of these items because I wanted to use my $3 off $15 coupon to the best advantage with the ECB deals that are going on. For everything you see, my I paid $10.71, but I $8 in ECBs! I got $5 back on the Gatorade products (Spend $5 on Gatorade Prime Products and get $5 ECBs) and $3 back on the nail polish (Buy Any Revlon Nail Polish and get $3 ECBs).

The ad says that the nail polish deal is on the Top Speed Nail Polish which is priced at $4.99. I thought I was going to be paying that because the scented nail polishes are below the Top Speed but there is no different price listed, so it was a nice surprise to end up getting it completely free after the ecbs. So pick out a scented nail polish and take it to the Magic Coupon Machine to check the price before you checkout, then you can end up with a freebie :)

Now I will be taking a much needed rest, but I will rest better thinking of all the sweet deals I got tonight :)

    CVS Trip :)

Woo Hoo! I went by the PSJ CVS on my way to the post office today and they had the Skintimate I needed!

    • 2 bottles of Skintimate Cream Shave, $2.19 each - Used $1.50 off printable coupon (no longer available) = 69¢ each
These were all I needed to put me over the $20 mark before coupons on the Schick ecbs deal, so I got $10 ecbs back and another $1 ecb for my green bag tag :)

Get Free SoftSoap at CVS with Coupon

Go here and print this coupon while it's still available! It went really fast last week, so I would print it asap!

CVS currently has a deal going where you get $3 in ECBs wyb 3 Mennen, Irish Spring, or SoftSoap products. They have the SoftSoap Foaming Hand Soap on sale 3 for $6, so if you print 3 of this coupon and buy 3 foaming hand soaps, you will pay $3 and they will give you $3 back in ECBs. 3 for Free!

I Just Made $5 At CVS!

Woo Hoo :) I had heard of others doing this deal, but anything that seems to good to be true I am always skeptical of, so I was thrilled that it worked for me too!

    • 5 trial size jars of Lumene Pure Radiance Day Cream and Time Freeze Firming Day Cream, $3.99 each - Used 5 $4 off Any Lumene Product coupons from the 6/19 SS insert = 5 for Free
So, yeah I got these little guys all for free, but how does that mean I made money? Well, all this month, CVS has a deal that if you spend $20 on Lumene products, you get $5 in ECBs back. Even though these technically were 5¢ short of the total, CVS is nice and they let it go through anyway :) So, I did have to pay the tax on all these, which was $1.20 - I used a $1 ECB from my green bag tag last time and paid 20¢. So, I made $5 off buying these! Woo Hoo!

So, make sure you cut out your Lumene coupons and head down to CVS before the jars are all gone. I've checked the Titusville store twice this week and they are all sold out, but the PSJ store had them :)

    CVS Trip

I wanted to take advantage of the Coke and Milk deals this week and lucked out :) First, I went to the magic coupon machine and it not only gave me $1.50 in my quarterly ECBs, it also gave me 7 other coupons :)

    • 50¢ off 2 Dove Large Chocolate Bars
    • 50¢ off Big Chill Purified Water, 20oz
    • $2 off Tylenol Precise
    • Free Air Delight Chocolate Bar
    • $2 off Skittles, Starbursts or Life Savers
    • $5 off Any $20 Skin Effects Purchase
    • 50¢ off Green Bag Tag
I couldn't use the Air Delight bar coupon since the store was out of stock and I held onto the skittles one so I can get one more tomorrow to use it with a manufacturer coupon :) I did find this though:
Woo Hoo :) I had read a few blogs mentioning people finding this clearance item, but at the time I didn't realize I had the appropriate coupon. On Sunday, whilst cleaning out my binder, I came across this peelie I forgot I had grabbed. This is why you always grab any peelie coupon you find! They only had one gel left at the Titusville store, so I will check the PSJ store tomorrow to see about using my one other coupon :)
    • 2 Gallons of TG Lee Milk, $3.39 each
    • 5 Coke 2 Liters, 69¢ each
    • Cristophe Professional Weightless Volumizing Styling Gel, clearance $2.49 - Used $2 off CVS peelie coupon = 49¢
So, after using my $1.50 ecb and my $6.79 ecb from 2 weeks ago, I paid $2.69! Woo Hoo :) The cashier said, "Wow, you go girl," when she read my total :) I even got another $1 ecb back for my green bag tag :)

    CVS Trip

This week had some fantastic freebies from CVS, so I decided to go early this time (a.k.a. before Thursday) to make sure I could take advantage of some deals.
    Here's what I got:
    • Finesse Texture Building Shampoo, on sale for $2.50 - Used $1 off Any Finesse Product coupon from the May issue of All You Magazine = $1.50
    • 2 Dove Men+Care Deodorants, on sale for $0.99 each - Used two $1 off Any Dove Men+Care Deodorant coupons from the newspaper a few weeks ago and one of the same coupons that came with my sample I requested online = $0.03 Overage
    • 2 Honest Ade Drinks, on sale for $1 - Used B1G1 printable coupon and $1 off Any Honest Tea from RecycleBank.com = 2 For Free
    • Sour Gummi Bunnies, 50% off in after Easter clearance = $1.49
I only bought the gummis to cover my little bit of overage. I also had $1.98 ECBs from last week so I needed to make sure the total I needed to pay was over that. So, I paid $1.54, and there is a $2 mail in rebate on the Finesse shampoo, so by the time that comes in, I will have been paid $0.46 to take all that stuff :) And I will be going back for more Honest Ade tomorrow (they only had the 2 bottles when I went).
